Fuel pump is one of the basic components of the fuel injection system of the EFI vehicle. It is located inside the fuel tank of the vehicle. The fuel pump works when starting and the engine is running. If the engine is stopped and the ignition switch is still on, the HFM-SFI control module turns off the fuel pump. Power supply to avoid accidental ignition.
The role of the fuel pump is to suck the fuel from the fuel tank, pressurize it and deliver it to the fuel supply pipe, and cooperate with the fuel pressure regulator to establish a certain fuel pressure.
