The fuel pressure regulator is the main component that ensures the normal fuel pressure in the automobile oil circuit, its function is to adjust the fuel pressure entering the injector according to the changes in the intake manifold pressure, so that the two maintain a constant pressure difference, so that the amount of fuel sprayed by the injector depends only on the opening time of the injector. The ECU can accurately control the injection amount by controlling the length of the injection time. It is recommended to check the pressure regulating valve when replacing the fuel pump because these components are crucial to the stability of the engine system.
