How To Maintain An Oil Pump

1. The injection pump is a diesel engine "heart", so the injection pump must be properly maintained. To install the injection pump on the diesel engine, must check and adjust the fuel supply advance angle; after 500 hours of diesel engine operation, to re-check and adjust the fuel supply advance angle. Must use the national standard light diesel fuel, diesel fuel should be filtered through 48 ~ 96 hours of precipitation. Usually pay attention to the diesel fuel tank and diesel filter clean. Check the oil in the governor every day, and add enough when it is insufficient. If there is a skeleton oil seal between the injection pump and the governor, the oil should be separately. If the oil surface due to oil dilution rose, the injection pump and oil pump serious leakage, should be ruled out in a timely manner. Diesel engine operation after 100 hours, to replace the oil, and clean the oil pump filter. Injection pump shall not be randomly disassembled, adjusted, especially with the seal label parts, really need to remove the maintenance, to clean the place before proceeding.

 

2. Every 2000 hours after the injection pump work, to fully disassemble and inspect, replace or repair serious wear and tear and has been damaged parts, and re-debug it. When the locomotive is not used for a long time, the injection pump should be full of diesel fuel in the oil pipeline. If you want to dismantle the injection pump, add anti-rust oil in the oil channel, it should be stored in a dry place, not with the battery, acid, alkali and other custody together; If you want to reassemble the injection pump, you should remove the anti-rust oil before use.

 If the fuel level is too low, the fuel pump motor will not get sufficient cooling and lubrication, which will cause the motor to overheat or even not work. Long-term this will cause damage to the gasoline pump to speed up.

 

3.Gasoline quality is too poor, there are impurities in the gasoline or foreign matter, gasoline pump is dirty, these impurities into the internal bearing of the gasoline pump will accelerate the wear and tear of the bearing, resulting in damage to the gasoline pump.

 

4.Gasoline filter is not replaced for a long time, the gasoline filter is clogged, the gasoline pump is in a long-term internal high load state resulting in damage to the gasoline pump.
